Volunteer Technical Support & Community Manager (GameSpy Arcade [HELPER])
Live tech support and moderation for the GameSpy Arcade program, an online platform that encompassed hundreds of games, each with their own individual and overarching chat rooms.
Duties/Accomplishments Include:
• Provided live and prompt tech support to users of the program with any issues they might have surrounding the program, or games that use it
• Put out behavioral fires, and made sure that GSA was a safe and enjoyable haven for our users
• Acted as a filter between the users and administrators, delegating and resolving issues, as well as filtering out those that did need to be sent up and those that did not
• Beyond tech support, communicated directly with fans and customers as a representative of the company
• Was liked and appreciated enough by community that a small fan club was created in my honor
